The meeting was called to order by President Linda Myers.

Treasurer’s Report:

No formal report given.

Business Meeting:

Program topics for the August 2005 meeting were discussed.  Suggestions were a representative from Medicaid for question and answer and a radiation oncology round table break out discussion group.

Discussion of the coding seminar being planned for November 2005 suggested both a radiology and radiation oncology session.  Walt Blackham and Jeff Majchrzak were suggested as the preferred speakers.  Glynda Harris and Deb Overcash will work with Meg Patton at ISMA to work out the details.

Deb Overcash is working with a committee to address Aetna issues.  This committee is to meet with the medical director of Aetna.  You may contact Deb about problems you may be encountering. 

There was a reminder to contact your legislative representative to voice your opinion about Senate Bill 416: licensure and financial reporting for imaging centers.  Linda Wilgus will also inquire about another bill proposal addressing filing limits for medical billing.
