Business discussion:

1. There was a request for nomination of Board Members. Diana Ford's nomination to the Board, a 3 year term ending in 2006, was presented and approved. With no other nominations, the continuation of the present Board Members and Officers was presented and approved:

Linda Myers (President) - 3 year term ending in 2004
Karen Shacklette (Treasurer) - 3 year term ending in 2006
Cathy West (Secretary) - 2 year term ending in 2004
Linda Wilgus - 2 year term ending in 2005
Deb Overcash - 3 year term ending in 2005
Mark Reynolds - 2 year term ending in 2005

2. An informational piece about participation as a Board Member and their responsibilities will be mailed to the membership to encourage participation.
3. Announcement of the coding seminar presented with the ISMA will be November 19, 2003 and will be devoted to general radiology coding. The price is yet to be determined, and names other than the IRBMA membership should be given to Linda Wilgus. Linda will get the names to Meg Patton at the ISMA, and the ISMA will do all the mailings.
4. The membership suggested program topics for the coming year:

• Benefit restructuring and staff shortages
• Auditing
• Credentialing
